Two agencies are trying to determine the cause of an early morning fire in an office building at 367 Inverness Parkway.

When crews from the South Metro Fire Rescue Authority arrived at the building about 5:24 a.m. they found heavy smoke in the building with several sprinkler heads activated, according to Becky O’Guin, spokeswoman for the fire district.

About 15 firefighters were quickly able to contain the fire. However, there was smoke, fire and water damage to the structure.

South Metro Fire Rescue and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the cause of the fire.
