COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Colorado Springs police say a woman who committed suicide is also responsible for killing her 13-year-old twins.
Colorado Spring police announced Friday that DNA and other evidence has led investigators to determine that 38-year-old Renee Ogden shot her children—Chase and Olivia—before shooting herself in the head on Oct. 4.
Police had already determined that Ogden killed herself but had not said who killed the twins.
Ogden’s husband found his wife dead when he got home from work. Police found his children when they went inside.
A motive for the killings has not been released.
