DENVER—Defenseman Matt Greene has been activated from the Los Angeles Kings’ non-roster list after sitting out the start of the year as he recovered from offseason shoulder surgery.
The assistant captain was in the lineup Saturday night against the Colorado Avalanche.
To make room on the roster, Los Angeles assigned defenseman Jake Muzzin to Manchester of the American Hockey League. Muzzin has one point in six games with the Kings this season.
The 27-year-old Greene is in his third season with the Kings.
