DETROIT — Former President Bill Clinton on Sunday showed his support for Democratic candidates in Michigan, calling for strong turnout among young and minority voters in the governor’s race and others.
Clinton appeared with U.S. Rep. John Dingell on Sunday at the University of Michigan. Earlier, he rallied voters in Detroit on behalf of gubernatorial candidate Virg Bernero.
Clinton headed to Minnesota on Sunday night, where he’ll support Democratic congressional candidate Tarryl Clark, who’s challenging Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann.
