A house fire Monday night in Eagle County led to the discovery of a body, believed to the be home’s renter, 57-year-old John Forsythe, this morning, according to the Eagle County Sheriff’s Department.
The fire at 289 Green Mountain Road east of Eagle was reported at about 11 p.m. Monday.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, according to the Sheriff’s Department.
