Groundbreaking for a new building on a long-vacant lot at East Colfax Avenue and Poplar Street is set for today.
The Phoenix on The Fax mixed-use development will be the first major project to be developed under the new Main Street zoning east of Monaco Parkway. The five-story project is expected to be a catalyst for development and redevelopment in the Quebec District, which includes both sides of Colfax and extends three blocks east and west of Quebec.
The project is being developed by Minneapolis-based Sherman Associates.
