Denver police using dogs arrested three adults and two teens in a string of burglaries committed in District 3, police say.
All of the arrests happened Tuesday.
Bob Maestas, 47, was arrested following a police chase after he was allegedly caught burglarizing a home on the 1000 block of N. Fillmore St., said Sonny Jackson, Denver police spokesman.
Police later answered a burglary call in the 6300 block East Minnesota Avenue and arrested two 16-year-old males outside and 18-year-old Demario Norman inside the home, Jackson said.
Police then arrested 34-year-old Sean Staggs following a burglary call in the 2400 block South Gilpin Street, he said.
Police set up perimeters in each of the cases and all of the suspects are suspects in other burglaries, Jackson said.
