CALDWELL, Idaho—The Idaho State Police say a pickup hit a Tennessee man as he crossed the highway in Caldwell, killing him.
The ISP says 41-year-old Roger L. Abney of Chattanooga, Tenn., was crossing state Highway 19 at about 7 a.m. Wednesday when he was hit by a pickup driven by a Caldwell man.
Abney was taken to the hospital, but died of his injuries about an hour later.
The ISP says Abney was not crossing the road in a crosswalk or intersection at the time.
The collision is still under investigation.
