A man sought by Larimer County authorities since Oct. 12 in connection with the death of his common-law wife has been arrested.
Larimer County Sheriff’s investigators arrested John Marks Jr. just after 6 p.m. today in the 4000 block of Clydesdale Parkway in Loveland, according to a release from the department.
Marks and his common-law wife, Kathy Adams, had both been missing since Oct. 12 when deputies were sent to do a welfare check on the couple’s home.
Adams, also known as “Psychic Kay,” ran a psychic business on Harmony Road in Fort Collins from 1999 to 2005.
Her body was found Oct. 23 in a ravine off of U.S. Highway 36 near the Boulder County line.
When the body was found, the gender of the body was not immediately identifiable, according to a previous release from the Larimer County Sheriff’s office. When the body was identified as that of Adams, and her death was ruled a homicide, a second-degree murder warrant was issued Wednesday for Marks.
The investigation is ongoing.
