A Lafayette father arrested Thursday on suspicion of causing the injuries that killed his 10-week-old son last week told authorities that he squeezed, shook and threw the infant in an attempt to revive him when he stopped breathing, the Daily Camera has reported.
Joaquin Campos, 21, told investigators that he shook his son Lyon Campos “pretty good and pretty hard,” according to an arrest report made public Friday afternoon. Campos made his first court appearance Friday, and his bail was set at $500,000.
