In the weeks leading up to Tuesday’s elections, The Denver Post asked Colorado’s gubernatorial candidates to write essays about major issues facing the state: transportation, education and immigration. This week, we thought John Hickenlooper, Dan Maes and Tom Tancredo and voters — would be worn out by campaigns, so we made it easy for them by asking for brief answers to a series of yes-or-no or multiple-choice questions.
