Description:
Set in 1940s New York, this is the story of Eddie Kurnitz who, when his wife dies, dumps his two teenage sons with their formidable Grandma Kurnitz who runs a candy store in Yonkers. A dark comedy full of emotionally crippled characters, the boys also have to contend with Bella and Louie and their mob connections.
