All aboard to the “North Pole.”
Colorado’s Santa Express Train will journey through Royal Gorge all the way to the “North Pole,” Nov. 20-Dec. 30. The 90-minute ride begins at the Santa Fe Depot and travels along the Arkansas River. Passengers are invited to relax and enjoy hot chocolate and holiday tales read by Santa’s elves before reaching the North Pole where Santa will board. Tickets available at or 1-888-724-5748
Festival of Trees.
The 24th annual Festival of Trees in Greeley is scheduled for Nov. 27-Dec. 4. Stroll through yuletide displays and take part in many activities, including visits from St. Nick, horse and carriage rides and antique fire truck rides. Admission is $1 for children and $2 for adults. or 970-350-9451
