PUEBLO, Colo.—Law officers have arrested a man who escaped from a halfway house following a standoff in Colorado City.
The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office say officers surround a motor home Thursday believing 20-year-old Christopher Wyatt was inside.
Wyatt was wanted on felony burglary and escape charges.
The office says that after several unsuccessful attempts to convince Wyatt to surrender, officers fired two gas canisters into the motor home.
That prompted Wyatt to come out and surrender with no further resistance. The office says two guns were recovered.
Wyatt was booked into Pueblo County without bond.
