Owls have been everywhere this year, from home and garden stores to clothing and craft stores. They are even on your radio, with songs from such bands as Owl City or Yarn Owl, and at the movies, with this year’s adaptation of “Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole.”

“Owls are a charming trend in home decor,” says Aimee Beatty, Pier 1 Imports’ corporate in-house stylist. “They add a fun, quirky element to living spaces. They fit right in with darker, retro looks and even in brighter, more natural settings.”
Sarah Buxton, owner of , a St. Louis-based vintage online jewelry site, counts the owl trends as part of the many “big, statement necklaces” popuar this year.
And one of the stars from Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of New York City,” Kelly Killoren Bensimon, tinkered with the owl craze last year. She designed owl pendants decorated with Swarovski crystals.
You can now find owls on almost everything including kids shoes and clothing, handbags, jewelry, tees, clocks and even coffee mugs. Home decorations from wall prints to wall decals offer some of the cutest owl designs. Here are some favorites.
