CHADRON, Neb. — Chadron State’s Glen Clinton returned a kickoff 88 yards for a touchdown with just over a minute left, and Clay Garcia threw an interception at the goal line as time expired as Chadron State defeated Colorado Mines 38-31 on Saturday. Garcia threw for 378 yards and three TDs, but the Orediggers (8-2, 7-1 RMAC) fell short, allowing 10 points in the fourth quarter to the Eagles (7-3, 6-2).
