BOULDER, Colo.—Colorado wildlife officials say a mountain lion has been killed by a vehicle north of Boulder.

Division of Wildlife spokeswoman Jennifer Churchill says the adult female mountain lion had a radio collar and was a study animal.

The Camera newspaper reports that according to police radio traffic, the animal was found around 7 p.m. Friday on North Foothills Highway.
