ATLANTA—A ticket sold in Ohio matched all six of the numbers drawn Tuesday to win the Mega Millions jackpot worth an estimated $25 million.
The winning numbers were 8, 26, 28, 33 and 53. The Mega Ball was 11 and the Megaplier was 4.
Four tickets sold in California, Maryland and Virginia matched the first five numbers only for prizes of $250,000 or more.
Colorado’s top prize was $600 each for five Megaplier tickets that matched other number combinations.
Mega Millions was created in 2002 and launched in Colorado earlier this year.
It’s now played in 41 states and the District of Columbia.
