FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Colorado State forward Greg Smith has been suspended for at least three games following his arrest on harassment and domestic violence charges.
Colorado State athletic department spokesman Zak Gilbert says the length of the suspension depends on the pending legal case and any student discipline proceedings.
The Coloradoan in Fort Collins reports that the 19-year-old Smith was arrested Oct. 31 after an alleged altercation with his girlfriend and another woman. His arraignment is scheduled Nov. 16.
Basketball coach Tim Miles says Smith had faced missing the first two games of the season because of academic issues. He says he added three more games after learning of the arrest.
The sophomore from Omaha, Neb., averaged 7.1 points and 3.8 rebounds per game last season.
