Snow is falling in the metro area this morning and roads are wet for the morning commute.

Snow showers should fall along the Front Range from Denver to the Wyoming border through 8 a.m. today, according to the National Weather Service. The heaviest snow showers will fall from Fort Collins north to the state line and east to about Greeley.

On Veterans Day in Denver skies will be mostly cloudy and the high temperature should top out at about 34 degrees, the weather service said. Accumulation in Denver today should be limited to 1 to 2 inches of snow.

Skies over Denver should clear out tonight and the overnight low should be about 21 degrees.

Friday’s weather in Denver should be sunny and mild, with a high temperature of 45 degrees, the weather service reports.

There will be a slight chance of snow – 30 percent on Saturday and 20 percent on Sunday – in Denver this weekend and the daytime highs should be about 40 degrees under partly cloudy skies.
