A gas explosion at a fourplex displaced residents in two of the apartments Saturday morning, authorities say.
The explosion triggered a small fire at 9:50 a.m. at 2557 S. Dover St., said Michelle French, spokeswoman for West Metro Fire Rescue.
Firefighters extinguished a small fire within 10 minutes, French said. The explosion and fire blew out two windows, but otherwise caused little damage. The fourplex was deemed uninhabitable because utilities were cut off.
An investigation has not determined the cause of the gas explosion.
