ORLANDO, Fla.—The Powerball jackpot is expected to grow to an estimated $35 million for Wednesday since no one matched all six of the numbers drawn over the weekend.
Saturday’s winning numbers were 17, 30, 48, 51 and 54. The Powerball was 29 and the Power Play was 5.
Tickets matching all five numbers and the Powerball would have won or shared the $25 million jackpot.
A Power Play ticket sold in South Carolina matched the first five numbers only to win $1 million.
Colorado’s top prize was $500 each for 16 Power Play tickets that matched other number combinations.
Powerball was created in 1992 and launched in Colorado in 2001.
It’s now played in 42 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
