PHILADELPHIA — A study released today by the Institute of International Education found that nearly 128,000 Chinese students studied in America in 2009-10, a 30 percent increase over the previous academic year.
Most foreign students in the U.S. come from China, followed by India and South Korea.
Meanwhile, more than 260,000 U.S. students studied abroad in 2008-09. Most Americans studied in Britain, Italy and Spain, but an increasing number are traveling to Peru, South Korea and Chile.
