ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. — Opponents of a $3 billion plan to pipe water from southwest Wyoming to Colorado have people on their side in three states.
It appears that opposition is mounting to the proposal to tap water from the Green River, and the Flaming Gorge Reservoir it feeds, to help supply Colorado’s Front Range.
The Rock Springs Rocket-Miner reports that local officials in Utah and environmental groups in Colorado have joined opposition in Wyoming.
