MOSCOW — Two Russian cosmonauts conducted a 6 1/2-hour spacewalk outside the international space station to install and reposition equipment.

Fyodor Yurchikhin and Oleg Skripochka were unable to complete one of the tasks, the relocation of a camera, but did install a workstation on the space lab’s Zvezda service module for use by Russian and European space fliers, and took samples of insulation from the space station’s exterior to test them for any sign of bio-organisms.
