WESTMINSTER — The search for a 60-year-old Westminster woman with Alzheimer’s disease expanded metro-wide Monday.
Bloodhounds also joined the search for Linda Nevermissashot, as a second night of sub-freezing temperatures was forecast in the metro region.
Nevermissashot hasn’t been seen since about 2 a.m. Sunday when her daughter went to work. At 9 a.m., when her daughter returned, Nevermissashot was gone, and the door was open.
Nevermissashot once lived in Denver, and she might turn up around Larimer Square, said Westminster Police Investigator Cheri Spottke.
She lives with her daughter in the 2800 block of 81st Avenue, two blocks east of North Federal Boulevard in Westminster. On Mondays, she routinely visits 41st Avenue and Eaton Street in Denver to take part in a senior citizens group, Spottke said.
Her family thinks she is wearing a light blue winter jacket, jeans and white sneakers. She is 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds and wears glasses. Anyone with information is asked to call 303-658-4360.
