Aurora police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Monday.
About 8:10 p.m., police received a report of a shooting in the 900 block of South Joliet Street.
When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot in the upper body, police said.
The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead about 8:40 p.m. His name was not released, pending notification of relatives.
