• Toronto Star columnist Richard Gwyn’s first name was incorrect in a Saturday op-ed column by freelancer Ellen Sweets.
• Because of a designer’s error, Denver school board member Andrea Merida’s last name was incorrect in a photo caption Tuesday on Page 1B.
• Because of imprecise information provided by a source, a story Tuesday on Page 1A overstated Colorado State Parks’ control of mineral rights in 42 parks. State Parks owns about 22 percent of the 225,260 acres it manages but does not necessarily own the mineral rights related to that land. As the agency assesses strategies for financial viability, managers are determining what mineral rights State Parks owns and whether they could be leased for oil and gas development.
