Colorado’s mountain casinos posted a 5 percent increase in revenue in October, from $61.8 million a year ago to $64.8 million, according to data released Wednesday by the state Division of Gaming.

Black Hawk’s 18 casinos reported $47.5 million in adjusted gross proceeds last month, up 4 percent from $45.5 million. Cripple Creek’s 15 casinos posted a roughly 2 percent increase, from just more than $11.1 million to nearly $11.4 million. Central City’s seven casinos posted the biggest percentage gain, up nearly 14 percent from $5.2 million to $5.9 million.

Central City added a casino over the past year, while Cripple Creek lost one.
