Canadian clothing designer RozeMerie Cuevas took a huge step in broadening her international fan base by presenting her Jacqueline Conoir Collection at the 2010 Brass Ring Fashion Luncheon. The 700 who attended this benefit for the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes greeted the show with enthusiasm; the women we talked to said they were impressed by the cut, fabric and overall “wearability” of the clothes. “I could see myself wearing so many of the outfits,” said Judy McNeil, president- elect of The Guild of the Children’s Diabetes Foundation. “This is going to be a hard show to top.” Diana Docktor chaired the event; the amount of money raised is yet to be determined.
