For this installment we talked to L.A. TV regular , who has appeared on “Chelsea Lately,” “Nick Swardson’s Pretend Time,” “Ugly Americans,” “Reno 911!” and other shows in addition to serving as a judge on Season 7 of “Last Comic Standing.”
Leggero’s act often hinges on the guise of an aloof L.A. princess — the perfect persona to indict the most bloated, superficial aspects of our culture. Itap what makes her brand of comedy so ripe for dissection, but itap also just plain fun, allowing audiences to feel OK guffawing about any number of potentially unsavory and taboo topics.
We talked to Leggero shortly after she taped her first Comedy Central special in New York, and shortly before her return to Denver, where she’ll record her first Comedy Central stand-up album.

I love reading YouTube comments — you’re no one until a bunch of people who can’t spell are arguing about how dumb you are. “ok ima drop it lik dis, u can believ what u wnt to budd dont go in disrespect whadd people lik… dhis bitch is dumb”
What are some things you never travel without?
Eyeliner and my chihuahua.

Tim and Eric, Reggie Watts, Tig Notaro, Zach Galifinakis, Louis C.K., Todd Barry.
What do you least look forward to about being on the road?
Getting shouted at to take out my liquids.
