The Colorado Public Utilities Commission will review Qwest’s proposed merger with CenturyLink at a hearing Dec. 9.
An oral decision is expected to be issued at the end of the hearing. The deal — approved by the Justice Department, the Federal Trade Commission and authorities in 12 states and Washington, D.C. — still requires approval from nine states, including Colorado, and the Federal Communications Commission.
