LAWRENCE, Kan. — Brandon Weeden took Oklahoma State somewhere it’s never been before. And that’s even without a possible trip to the Big 12 title game, where the No. 12 Cowboys could be headed.

Weeden threw for 389 yards three touchdowns Saturday in the Cowboys’ 48-14 victory over Kansas, giving the Cowboys at least a tie atop the Big 12 South and a 10-win regular season — both the first in school history.

Cowboys wide receiver Justin Blackmon had 130 yards and one touchdown on 10 catches, extending his school record with his 10th straight game of at least 100 yards receiving and one TD catch.

Weeden’s 3,708 yards of total offense this year, with one regular-season game to play, wiped out the 3,671 compiled in 2007 by Zac Robinson.

Kansas (3-8, 1-6) gave the Cowboys a surprisingly tough fight in the first half, and even led 7-0 and 14-10 before Oklahoma State (10-1, 6-1) pulled away in the second half.

No. 16 Oklahoma 53, Baylor 24

WACO, Texas — DeMarco Murray turned a short pass into a long touchdown and ran for another touchdown in the opening minutes as the Sooners kept their Big 12 title hopes alive.

Oklahoma (9-2, 5-2) has won all 20 games against the Bears (7-5, 4-4), who wrapped up their first winning regular season since 1995 despite losing all three of their November games — all to ranked teams.

No. 15 Missouri 14, Iowa State 0

AMES, Iowa — Blaine Gabbert threw a touchdown pass, and the Tigers turned a fake punt into another score in a victory over the Cyclones.

On a chilly night, Missouri (9-2, 5-2) sputtered offensively most of the game. But the Tigers’ defense remained stout and they made just enough plays with the ball to deny Iowa State (5-7, 3-5) the win it needed for bowl eligibility.

Texas Tech 64, Weber St. 21

LUBBOCK, Texas — Taylor Potts threw for three touchdowns and ran for another, all in the first half of a win that made the Red Raiders (6-5, 3-5) eligible for a bowl.

Texas 51, Florida Atlantic 17

AUSTIN, Texas — Garrett Gilbert threw two long touchdown passes and Emmanuel Acho had a 57-yard interception return as the Longhorns (5-6) snapped a four-game losing streak.
