FORT MORGAN, Colo.—A former business manager for The Fort Morgan Times has pleaded guilty to embezzling more than $54,000 from the newspaper.
Tamara Nelson pleaded guilty Friday in Morgan County District Court to one count each of theft and forgery.
The former business manager faces a possible prison sentence, though the judge said Nelson is eligible for probation.
Prosecutors are also seeking restitution. Nelson remains free on bond.
