GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—A Grand Junction woman has been convicted of second-degree murder for stabbing her boyfriend to death early this year.

Twenty-year-old Amd Adamson was also convicted Friday of tampering with evidence and trying to hire a hit man to kill two witnesses to the January killing of 20-year-old Ramon Sandoval.

Prosecutors said Adamson killed Sandoval because she thought he’d been flirting with her girlfriend.

The (Grand Junction) Daily Sentinel reports that sentencing for Adamson was set for Wednesday.
