FBC–COLORADO-CABRAL’s COMMAND
BOULDER—With two straight wins, Colorado interim coach Brian Cabral has the Buffaloes on the brink of bowl eligibility. That seemed highly unlikely three weeks ago when Colorado squandered a big fourth-quarter lead at Kansas, a loss that ultimately cost Dan Hawkins his job. With Cabral in charge, the Buffs have been a more focused, more disciplined team. Cabral may just be making a convincing argument to be the next head coach, which he can only bolster if his squad can win Friday at Nebraska.
