DENVER—Colorado’s mountains are getting more snow before the Thanksgiving holiday.

Much of western Colorado is under a winter storm warning Monday. More than 2 feet of snow is expected in some areas, prompting an avalanche warning for ranges including the San Juan Mountains in southwest Colorado, the Elk Mountains and the Grand Mesa.

The National Weather Service says another storm will move in Tuesday night into Wednesday, bringing more snow and colder temperatures.
