It wasn’t just the guests who followed the color scheme for A Pink Tie Affair. Parking valets, doormen and servers all were wearing pink neckwear for this annual dinner, dance and auction put on by the Denver Metropolitan Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Smith and Al Harrington helped St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church (founded 109 years ago, St. Stephen is the second-oldest black church in Colorado) with its Thanksgiving food basket giveaway and how people sang their hearts out at the annual Cocktails & Karaoke benefit for National Jewish Health.
