The Mesa County coroner’s office has identified the driver who collided with a semi on an Interstate 70 frontage road in DeBeque on Tuesday as 19-year-old Rachel E. Counts of DeBeque. The coroner’s office said alcohol was a factor in the crash.
A toddler and other passengers in the Dodge Durango survived the crash at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
