“Four Mile on Fire,” a new book chronicling the impact of the Fourmile fire on the foothills communities west of Boulder, includes never-before-seen photos of the first hours of the conflagration and messages of hope and support from the community and beyond.
The book goes on sale today, and all proceeds will go toward funding the reconstruction of the Salina Firehouse, which was burned down in one of Colorado’s most destructive wildfires. The suggested price of the book is $15. It will be on sale at the south entrance of McGuckin Hardware in Boulder from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today.
