ASPEN, Colo.—Carolin Fernsebner of Germany tore the meniscus in her right knee and possibly her ACL in a crash in a World Cup giant slalom race.
Fernsebner stayed down on the course for quite some time Saturday, before being brought down on a sled. She was scheduled to have a scope performed on her knee Saturday night.
The 24-year-old Fernsebner will travel to Germany early next week. She has no World Cup podium finishes in her career.
