COLORADO SPRINGS — Matt Bailey’s goal with 6 seconds to play sent the game into overtime and Tommy Grant’s goal with 1:10 to play in the extra period gave Alaska-Anchorage a 4-3 Western Collegiate Hockey Association win over Colorado College on Friday.
Bailey scored twice for the Seawolves (4-7-2, 3-5-1), who faced a 3-2 deficit after Tyler Johnson’s power-play goal at 17:45 gave the Tigers a 3-2 lead. Johnson had two goals.
But CC goalie Joe Howe, who had 32 saves for the Tigers (5-7-1, 2-5-0), could not hold the lead.
Bailey’s game-tying goal came with Seawolves goalie Rob Gunderson on the bench for an extra skater. Gunderson had 35 saves, including 14 in the third period.
Craig Parkinson also had a goal for UAA.
