Prematch ritual: I always want to have something different on me, on my hair, on a sock, something away from the rest of the players.
Time management tip: Try not to procrastinate. I keep a planner to keep organized, then cross off something and add something else. I also write sports articles for the South Platte Sentinel. So I’m just always busy. I do not like being bored.
Planned career: Nurse or journalist.
My family: Parents Connie and Dave, sister Amanda, brother Darian.
I would love to visit: Africa.
What high school sports mean to me: First of all, I love them to death. The whole thing helps with school, it’s a friend thing and teaches you responsibility, self-respect and kind of real-world situations. You’re going to have teammates you don’t get along with, but you have to get along with them. It’s like in the work world.
