A man was rushed to the hospital Sunday after the motor scooter that he was on collided with a car at the intersection of West 5th Avenue and Perry Street, Denver authorities say.
The man in his 40s was wearing a helmet but still sustained serious head injuries, said Phil Champagne, Denver fire spokesman. The accident is under investigation.
