BYERS — Authorities say between 400 and 450 acres of a wheat field northeast of Byers burned Sunday after a tractor caught it on fire.
It took the Byers Fire Department and other agencies about two hours to extinguish the blaze after a tractor caught the wheat field stubble on fire.
