DENVER—The FBI is honoring a Denver business leader and philanthropist for his work on crime prevention and support of law enforcement.
James Davis of the FBI’s regional office in Denver will present the award Tuesday to Christian Anschutz, son of Denver billionaire Philip Anschutz. He will receive the 2010 Director’s Community Leadership award.
The FBI has given the award since 1990 to recognize the achievements of individuals and organizations that make extraordinary contributions to crime and violence prevention and education in their communities. Each field office selects one person or organization each year.
