DENVER—Federal authorities have seized 82 Web domain names, including seven based in Colorado, as part of a nationwide crackdown on sites allegedly selling counterfeit goods.

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder announced the crackdown on Monday as Internet retailers tried to jumpstart holiday sales with Cyber Monday promotions.

The Web domains seized in Colorado are: mycollects.com, lv-outletstore.com, lv-outlets.com, lv-outlets.net, timberlandlike.com, realtimberland.com, and handbag9.com.

Colorado U.S. Attorney’s Office spokesman Jeff Dorschner said no arrests have been made but the matter remains under investigation. Visits to the sites bring up a notice that the domain names have been seized by the federal government.
