Versa Power Systems Inc., a Littleton-based developer of high-power solid oxide fuel cells, announced Monday its selection as a supplier to The Boeing Co. under a U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency program to develop and fly a very long endurance unmanned aircraft.
The technology will enable an aircraft to remain on station at altitudes above 60,000 feet for at least five years, performing communications and reconnaissance missions.
