The 403-room Embassy Suites downtown will open Dec. 15, with a ribbon-cutting the following day.
The 17-story hotel at 1420 Stout St. will offer midrange room rates and amenities including dining, a fitness center, a pool and a business center.
Each suite has two 37-inch LCD HDTVs, a wet bar, a microwave and a refrigerator.
Developed by WPM Construction, the hotel is on track to earn LEED certification, which serves as third-party verification that a building was designed and built using strategies aimed at improving energy savings, carbon-dioxide emissions, water efficiency, indoor environmental quality and stewardship of resources.
