Denver designer Mondo Guerra, who came in second on the recent season of Lifetime’s “Project Runway,” is putting his creative talents to good use with T-shirt styles that are being sold exclusively on . In characteristically bold Mondo style, the shirts are in graphic black and white. One features the image of a skull in a Day of the Dead motif, which he also used on the television show. The other is of a tree featuring a single heart dangling from a branch. The shirts are $50, with $20 of every T-shirt sold going to amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research. The cause is important to Guerra, who first announced he was HIV-positive during an episode, and he has been a vocal advocate of AIDS research. Guerra was in New York this week to commemorate World AIDS Day.
